For over twenty years, Jubilee Women’s Center has helped homeless women get back on their feet, providing life saving shelter and job retraining. Our PSA was designed to change the preconception about Jubilee’s clients.
Using a hip, animated style the PSA looks like a fashion ad – until you realize that all the positive messages on the screen (beautiful, talented, employed) also apply to homeless women. A popular clip on many of Seattle’s broadcast channels, “A Jubilee Woman Is” has also won several national awards.
