What do you get when you combine a private tutoring service, a potential teachers strike, and a school in the middle of south central LA’s worst crime area? An opportunity! Media Alchemy came in with a film crew to document how kids used Kaplan’s Score teaching system.
Working without a script, we let the principal, parents, teachers – and even the kids– tell this amazing story. The end result? Kaplan Learning Services won a $10 million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Unified School district.
